HOW TO ADD COLOR TO YOUR OFFICE LOOK
Fashion • July 8th, 2020
If you are a working woman, your style does not need to be boring. People in the corporate world tend to wear monochrome hues, ‘boxy’ fitted clothing and usually navigate towards colors like black, tones of blues and/or grays. Your work outfit should be fun and reflect your personality. So adding a splash of color to your work outfit, not only will elevate your style but will add a touch of chicness and sophistication.
Colors like fuchsia , yellow, orange, green, turquoise would work well during Spring/Summer, while hues such as mauve, maroon, mustard, brown, taupe are great for the Fall/Winter season.
To add vibrant and bold colors to your work outfit, ensure that the hues worn are opposites on the color wheel as I did here. The other method would be to wear colors from the same palette such cerise, pink and red as I did here and here.
Prints such as animal and polka dots also work really well with vivid colors as I did here and here.
If you are still not too sure about adding vibrant and bold colors to your work outfit, accessories such belts, purses, scarves or necklace are always great options to add and complete your look.
How would you add color to your work outfit? Please leave me a comment below, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks!
