THE BROADMOR HOTEL, COLORADO SPRINGS

Travel  •  September, 2018

Greetings from Colorado Springs. I decided to do a little stay-cation this time around and I was privileged to stay for a weekend at one of the most beautiful and historic hotels in Colorado Springs,Colorado… The Broadmoor and it just happened that the hotel was celebrating their 100 years anniversary and it was such an honor to be part of this great experience.

The resort is magnificent. From the lobby and entrance, the landscape, the amenities, my room,  the staff and various restaurants looking at the lake, everything was impeccable.

My afternoon started at the Golden Bee a British Pub and Restaurant known for their famous “Fish and Chips” and “Steamed Mussels”, it was perfect for dinner.

The next day, I visited and went on a hike at the famous “ Seven Falls” known for its series of seven waterfalls of the Cheyenne Creek. Since I was staying at the hotel, I could explore it for free.. (Bonus lol)

After the hike, it was time to head back to the hotel to get ready for Lunch. I had lunch at the “Natural Epicurean”, a healthy and organic restaurant located at the lower level,  west of the Main Hotel. Everything I ordered was so fresh and tasteful. If you are looking for something light and organic, this restaurant will do the trick for you. You will not be disappointed.

After lunch, I walked a little bit around the resort and finished my day at the infinity pool looking at the lake. It was such a relaxing afternoon, just what I needed.

If you are looking for a stay-cation and want to escape from Denver’s busy scene,  the Broadmoor is definitely a place to consider.
