HOW TO STYLE SUITS AND SNEAKERS

Fashion  •   October 13th, 2020

Suits and sneakers is a trend that we have seen men wear for a long time. Nowadays, the masculine trend has transitioned to more women wearing suits and sneakers in a very chic, elegant and feminine way. Personally, I’m not sure why I have never tried it before. For work, I’m more of a high heels kinda girl and I love my heels.  It’s only until recently that I started embracing the trend as I’ve seen many women in suits and sneakers. And frankly, I have to admit that it can be very cool and chic when it is styled well.

Here are 5 tips on how to transition from suits and heels to styling suits and sneakers

1. Wear a tailored suit.

2. Pair your suit with a white tee or button down shirt. White is always chic and elegant and goes with most suits.

3. Avoid multicolor sneakers. Go for solid colors like white, black, nude/neutral and/or gray.

4. Make sure that you are wearing clean sneakers for a more polished look.

5. If want to add accessories to this style, adding a hat, cap or even a beret will mostly elevate this look.

The good thing about styling suits and sneakers is that you can basically wear it throughout the year. This style is great for after work happy hour with colleagues if you want a more relaxed and casual look and it’s a great airport style if you are leaving the office to go catch a flight.
